I created a wide variety of recruitment materials to raise awareness of the University's brand. The target audience for undergrad material is high school students and their families. I also designed recruiting material for the graduate school, which targets a more mature audience, people who are either finishing up their undergrad degree and looking to go to the next step, or non-traditional students who have experience in the work force and think a post-grad degree with further their career. I also do fund-raising material marketing to successful alumni, pointing out the value their education was to them, and asking for donations.

Macomb Viewbook (WIU)

Details

The viewbook is the main undergraduate recruitment publication, mailed to perspective students and handed out at college fairs and tours. It provides a comprehensive overview of the University, community and education. Featuring sections on the undergraduate schools, Macomb, campus life, and successful alumni, among others, the viewbook uses the words and stories of students and faculty, vivid photography, and striking color to tell the story of life at a great university.

Strategic Plan

Details

A Strategic Plan outlines the vision & priorities for the university for the coming year and beyond. It outlines the goals for personnel, programs as well as the physical buildings.

The cover needed expensive PhotoShop retouching. There were distracting elements in the background that had to be eliminated, and the trees had to be retouched to show above the banner.

Articulation Piece (University Updates)

Details

Admissions recruiters often travel to college fairs, taking the Articulation Piece with them as a tool to have all the relavent facts about Western Illinois University at their fingertips. Shorter than the Viewbook, with fewer photos and other fluff, it has all the frequently asked questions.

    Details

    The Transfer Planning Guide is like the Articulation Piece, because it's shorter than the Viewbook, but, as suggested by it's name, the target audience is transfer students who maybe went to a junior or 2-year college and want to continue their education at the University. It lists majors, transfer scholarships and other facts specifically suited to transfer students.
